Hurit woke that morning refreshed and ready for the day. She headed first for the room where the Ladies normally rest during the day. Seeing no Ladies to serve she continued on to the farm. She found herself standing before her brother working at the forge. She greeted him and asked him for a sickle so she may work on her chores. As he made her a sickle she went to the verr. She made sure each was fed and watered before milking each of the females. She noticed some were ready to birth, but was told not to help it along unless the Mistresses were there. So instead she gently patted the head of the mothers to be and continued milking the other verr. She would leave the tins of milk beside each verr until she was done with her work. She then grabbed a box that had no lid and started to gather up the tins taking them box by box to sit by the others. After she was done she used a rence cloth to get the sweat from her brow. She was then again approached by her brother and given the sickle. She thanked him before moving to the fields. She noted some of the grapes had grown nice and fat and ready to be picked. She picked up her new sickle effortlessly cutting the stems of the grapes throwing them into a basket. Once the basket was as full as she could get it she took it to the others setting it down. She then went to the barn collecting two empty sacks. She threw them over her shoulder and walked to the Sa-Tarna fields. They were small, but that was better. She took her time with the sickle cutting the stalks as close to the ground as she could as she put the grain into the bags. Once each were full she pulled a needle from her belt and sew the tops of each bag so no grain would be lost. She smiled happily at her work before dragging the bags to the others. She sighed as she finished her work dusting off her hands and knees before making her way down to bathe.
