Know the following positions and reference them to the scrolls:
.
tower
this form of nadu, she kneels the same way but with her palms down and her knees modestly together. The position may also be done with arms crossed at wrists before the kajira or the hands maybe holding something, such as a tablet for inscribing ciphers, etx. This is refereed as the tower slave position and is typically reserved for underage or white-silks slave girls, free Women including those in temporary service to pay a debt, or slave girls who serve their Master in a nonsexual way.
She had not prepared herself a portion but, after I had been served, had knelt silently to one side, back on her heels in the position of a Tower Slave, a slave to whom largely domestic duties would be allotted in the Gorean apartment cylinders.
Priest-Kings of Gor, page 45
Obedience
position of extreme deference which is described as a slave deeply bowing her head from the basic pleasure slave position, often flattening her palms against the floor.
"You may do obeisance, my dear, " said Kliomenes.
The girl rose to her feet and went to Kliomenes. She knelt before him, on the dais, and put her head down. Gently, softly, she licked and kissed his feet. She then rose again to her feet, backed away, and then, on the tiles, again knelt. She put the palms of her hands on the tiles, and lowered her head to the tiles. Then she straightened up, her back straight, assuming the position of the pleasure slave, though keeping her head bowed deferentially.
Rogue of Gor, page 299"
heel
The slave follows the Master at his heel. where she belongs Slightly behind and to his left or right, depending on which side is his weapon hand. The distance behind varies. Coffle of girls being led through a city, may follow inches behind, while in open field, she may be 5-10 feet following.
The Forkbeard turned about and, one arm about Pudding, the other about Gunnhild, started from the dock. Hilda followed him, to his left. 'She heels nicely,' said Ottar. The men and bond-maids laughed. The Forkbeard stopped. Hilda's face burned red with fury, but she kept her head high. Pet sleen are taught to heel; so, too, sometimes, are bond-maids; I was familiar with this sort of thing, of course; in the south it was quite common for slave girls; in various fashions in various cities, to heel their masters. Hilda, of course, was a free woman. For her to heel was an incredible humiliation. The Forkbeard started off again, and then again stopped. Again, Hilda followed him as before. 'She is heeling!' laughed Ottar." p. 123, Marauders of Gor
hair
In this position a girl stands, crouching slightly behind the master and deeply bows her head. From this position, she may be led or moved to another position or simply controlled
belly
In this position, she falls to the floor face down, her forehead resting flat on the surface, or her left cheek pressed to the floor, her arms at her sides or clasped behind her back, sometimes bound, with her knees, never touching and crawls to the Master on her belly. It could be used for punishment, to display submission, or as part of an erotic dance.
Approach me on your belly, I said. She squirmed to the table, her hands still behind her.
Page 75. Renegades of Gor.
bara
This position may be used as punishment, display or for the transporting of a girl, she lays on her stomach, face down and with her cheek and breasts pressed to the floor, face turned to the left with her wrists crossed behind her back. Her ankles are usually crossed, as well, as if for binding. The Master may have the binding fibers at his belt, used those wounds around her waist and holding her garment, or even bid the kajira to approach with them held in her teeth.
Bara, Kajira! he said. She rolled quickly to her stomach, placing her wrists behind her, crossed and crossing her ankles, ready to be bound.

blanket
when a blanket or cloak or covering of any sort is thrown over a slave girl she may not speak or rise; she must remain silent until the blanket is lifted by a free person.
then threw the second blanket, the top blanket over her, covering her completely. When a blanket, or cloak, or covering of any sort, is thrown over a slave like this she may not speak or rise. She must remain as she is, silent, until the master, or some free man, lifts the covering away.

bracelets
Kneels, thighs spread wide, back arched, arms extended before his/her with wrists pressed together with head held high with eyes lowered submissively.
"Bracelets!" I said in Gorean harshly. The girl snapped to position, hands behind the small of her back, head lifted, chin up, turned to the left. In such a posture she may be conveniently put in bracelets and leashed.
Tribesmen of Gor, page 78
capture
The slave lays down upon her back, bending her knees to place her feet flat against the ground, her hands at her side and remains motionless
On your back," he said, "knees raised, heels on the floor." I then lay before him, in a standard, supine capture position
Kajira of Gor, pg. 422
prostrate
is the position used for begging entrance. it can be done with thighs together or apart depending on the restrictions placed upon that slave. folding at the waist, the forehead should touch the ground, arms stretching out before them and fingers spread in supplication from this position a slave may then ask permission to enter.
"i knelt before the guest, putting the palms of my hands on the floor and my head to the tiles."
Kajira of Gor, page 305
she sleen
she is kept quite definitely as only a mute pet much like any sleen would act. Sometimes the slave is even taught tricks she must learn without the help of verbal clues. "In this form of slavery, which is commonly used for disciplinary purposes, or for the amusement of the Master, the woman is not permitted to arise from all fours; similarly she is not permitted human speech, though she may signify needs and desires by such means as cringing, and moaning and whimpering. Not permitted the use of her hands, save as a means of locomotion, she must also eat and drink from pans set on the floor, or, sometimes to satisfy her thirst, she must lap the water permitted to her from puddles or lick pillages from the tiles; too, it is no uncommon to chain her near her Master's feet, while He dines, that He may, if He wishes, throw her scraps of food. she will also be taught tricks, through which paces she may be put for the entertainment of her Master's Guests, such things as begging, lying down, rolling over, and fetching His sandals in her teeth. And, needless to say, when her Master wishes to use her sexually, it will be a position common to the she-quadruped."
Guardsman of Gor, page 225
submission
the slave kneels before the Master, back on her heels, arms extended, head down between her arms, wrists crossed as though for binding.
She fell to her knees before him, and lifted her head to regard him. "I will be your slave," she said. Then, she knelt back on her heels, lowered her head, and lifted and extended her arms, wrists crossed, as though for binding. She was very beautiful. "I am your slave," she said. "-- Master." sula
In this position a slave lays upon her back her hands at her sides palms upward her legs widely spread to await her Master's pleasure
"Sula, Kajira!" said the man. She slid her legs from under her and lay on her back, her hands at her sides, palms up, her legs open.

leading
used as a command): posture of a slave girl bending forward at the waist with her head at a master's hip so that he may grab her hair and guide her where he wishes her to go.
I held my left hand open, at my waist. She stiffened, and looked at me, angrily. I opened and closed my left hand once. I saw her training in Gorean customs had been thorough. But she never thought that such a gesture would be used to her. She came beside me, and a bit behind me, and, crouching, put her head down, deeply. I fastened my hand in her hair. She winced. Women are helpless in this position. Beasts of Gor, page 409
nadu
gorean position of the pleasure slave and usually the first slave position taught to a new girl. A kneeling slave is directed to straighten her back and sit on her heels, lifting her head, and placing her hands, palms down, on her thighs. There are a couple of examples which suggest a variation of uplifted palms, though this appears to be an exception to the basic position.
The position of the pleasure slave, incidentally, differs from the position of both the free woman and the Tower Slave. The hands of a Pleasure Slave normally rest on her thighs but, in some cities, for example, Thentis, I believe they are crossed behind her. More significantly, for the free woman's hands The position of the pleasure slave, incidentally, differs from the position of both the free woman and the Tower Slave. The hands of a Pleasure Slave normally rest on her thighs but, in some cities, for example, Thentis, I believe they are crossed behind her. More significantly, for the free woman's hands may also rest on her thighs, there is a difference in the placement of the knees. In all three kneeling positions, incidentally, even that of the Pleasure Slave, the Gorean woman carries herself well; her back is straight and her chin is high. She tends to be vital and beautiful to look upon.
Priest-Kings of Gor, pages 46-47
obedience
a form of obeisance position with a girl on her belly and her head to boot or floor, palms pressed flat to floor; variations can include kissing the Master's boot.
"I belly to you!" said the girl, her head down over my foot. She held still to my ankle, her small hands about it. Her hair was about my foot. I felt her hot lips press again and again to my foot.

prone
Lay flat on back, legs pointed to Master if possible, with wide spread thgh, arms resting at sides with palms up left knee flexed slightly to enhance the view. Keep eyes lowered and await inspection.
leasha
the slave remains standing or kneeling, depending upon her current position. She turns away from her Master, tilting up her chin and turns her head to the left as a leash is attached to her collar. Her wrists are extended behind her to be locked into slave bracelets or otherwise bound.
"Lesha," snapped the second officer to the blond girl. She spun from facing him, and lifted her chin, turning her head to the left, placing her wrists behind her, as though for snapping them into slave bracelets.

Slave Basics
What is the basic duty of a kajira?
Exquisite beauty and absolute obedience. To be pleasing to the Free and serve with her heart and soul. To attend to her duties and chores without complaining.
What is the difference between a Gorean slave and a sub?
A gorean slave gives complete submission to the Free where as a sub only gives submission when it suits her. Slaves are obedient, subs obey when it pleases them.
Be able to recite to Me the kajira oath.
He is owner and I am owned
He commands, I obey
He is Master and I am slave
He is to be pleased and I am to please
Why is this?
Because He is Master and I am slave.
What is the chain of command for a slave?
Her Owner
Free of the Home
First Girl
What is the role of the first girl?
slave appointed by the Master to oversee other usually younger or less experienced girls; she rules when Free Persons are not present as the Master, but she is subject to his total authority
When more than one slave girl stands in a relationship of slave girls, as when they serve in the same shop or house, or adorn the same rich man's pleasure gardens, it is common for the master, or masters, to appoint a "first girl." Her authority is then to the other girls as if that of the Master. This tends to reduce squabbling. The first girl is usually, though not always, the favorite of the Master. There is much competition to be first girl. First girls can be cruel and petty but commonly, they attempt to govern with intelligence and justice. They know that another girl, at the master's whim, may become first girl, and that they themselves may then be under her almost absolute power. In my house I often rotated the position of first girl among my slaves who were native Goreans. I never made and Earth-girl slave first girl. This is fitting. Let them be always as slaves of slaves. .

Know the basic slave rules, ie traveling, restrictions as a white silk, handling of money, running away
Slaves are only allowed to travel where they are permitted by their Owners, When and If they travel there are to always be on their best behaviors as they are a reflection upon their Owner and their homes, White silks are basically not allowed to travel unless accompanied by a Free of the Camp,
Slaves are not allowed to handle money. They either take it in their mouths and give it to their owners or in their clothing.
in many places or simply by their Master's word, most slaves may not handle legal documents, money or weapons and certainly attempt to using a weapon to harm a free person would be considered a capital offense. When one is a slave, strikes a Free person the penalty is not infrequently death by impalement.
Assassin of Gor page 74
For a slave to runaway from her Owner is a serious offense. For the first offense the penalty is commonly a severe beating. But she is only allowed that single mistake. The penalty for a second offense is usually hamstringing.
Animals of Gor
Describe the animal, including what it is, how it looks, what it is used for if anything, how it behaves if applicable, know if there are subspieces of the animal, and where it lives.
Bosk,
a huge, shambling animal, with a thick, humped neck and long, shaggy hair. It has a wide head and tiny red eyes, a fearful temper, and two long, wicked, curved and pointed horns. The horns, from tip to tip may measure two spears in length. It is for good reason the bosk is called 'The Mother of the Wagon Peoples'. It's flesh and milk furnish food and drink, shelter is made from it's hides, and clothing from it's tanned and sewn skins. Weapons are made from the leather of it's hump and many tools and implements from it's bone and horns. Even the dung is dried and used for fuel. The bosk is reverenced and the penalties for it's slaughter without reason are extreme
Verr,
mountain goat indigenous to the Voltai Mountains; wild, agile, ill-tempered, with long hair and spiraling horns; source of a form of wool; its milk is potable as well as being used for cheese
Vulo,

Tabuk, Prairie:
described as tawny and gazelle-like with a single horn, it responds to threat by scurrying away or lying down. Presumably this reponse is useful because of the high grass of the Barrens as most predators depend on vision to detect and locate it's prey.
Tarsk,

Sleen, Gray:
said to be Gor's finest tracker, this six legged sleen is a furred mammal with silver gray fur. It has an agile, sinuous body, thick as a drum and is 14-15 feet long. The gray sleen has a broad triangular head and a huge jaw with two rows of fangs and a dark tongue. It's widely set eyes have slit-like pupils. As is true for all sleens, it has six legs. This breed is relentless and tenacious. It can follow a scent that is weeks old for a thousand pasangs.
Sleen, Hunting:
the hunting sleen is a hunter of men. It is 20 feet in length and weighs eleven hundred pounds. This domesticated forest sleen is double-fanged and six-footed. Slave Types
1. what does the word "kajira" mean
Slave girl
2. What is a coin girl. Describe a Bath girl
the slave girl who works in the public Gorean bath houses, excellent swimmers who spend a great deal of time in the water. Slaves in a public or private bath house wear a chain with a plate kolar. The plate gives their name and cost. The wear a towel with nothing underneath. While swimming many wrap a long broad strap of glazed leather about their heads like a turban. The bath girls are there for the pleasures of men. Sometimes the girls will pretend to swim away from the men and try to escape but are easily caught by the men. 5. What is a Tower slave used for
slave-girl in any of the cities of Gor; her duties in the apartment cylinders are large domestic
Beyond the Sullage and the bosk steak there was the flat rounded loaf of the yellow
Sa-Tarna bread. The meal was completed by a handful of grapes and a draught of water from the wall tap. The grapes were purple and, I suppose, Ta grapes from the lower vineyards of the terraced island of Cos some four hundred pasangs from Port Kar. I had tasted some only once before, having been introduced to them in a feast given in my honour by Lara, who was Tatrix of the city of Tharna. If they were indeed Ta grapes I supposed they must have come by galley from Cos to Port Kar, and from Port Kar to the Fair of En'Kara. Port Kar and Cos are hereditary enemies, but such traditions would not be likely to preclude some profitable smuggling. But perhaps they were not Ta grapes for Cos was far distant, and even if carried by tarns, the grapes would probably not seem so fresh. I dismissed the matter from my mind. I wondered why there was only water to drink, and none of the fermented beverages of Gor, such as Paga, Ka-la-na wine or Kal-da. I was sure that if these were available Vika would have set them before me. I looked at her. She had not prepared herself a portion but, after I had been served, had knelt silently to one side, back on her heels in the position of a Tower Slave, a slave to whom largely domestic duties would be allotted in the Gorean apartment cylinders.

7. What is a passion slave
a slavegirl who has been bred, rather captured; specifically, one that has been bred for a particular trait, such as beauty or slave heat or the shape of her lip
I looked to one side and was startled. Watching us was a woman in Pleasure Silk, of remarkable beauty, yet with a certain subtle hardness and comtempt about her. She wore a yellow collar, that of the House of Cernus, and yello Pleasure Silk. The slave bells, a doublt row, were locked on her left ankle. About her throat there hung a slave whistle. From her right hand, looped about the wrist, there dangled a slave goad. She was fairly complected but had extremely dark hair and dar eyes, very red lips. The movement of her exquisite body was a torment to observe; she looked at me with a slight smile, regarding the black of the tunic, the mark of the dagger; her lips were full and magnificently turned, probably a characteristic bred into her; I had no doubt this black-haird, cruelly beautiful woman was a bred Passion Slave. She was one of the most rawly sensuous creatures on which I had ever looked
Assassin of Gor, Page 150
8. what is a pleasure slave

What is the difference in serving a Free Man over a Free Woman?
Depending on your silks level you may show heat and need when serving a Free Man unless you are restricted. With a Free Woman you show no heat or need.
Define each beverage; e.g., know what it is, where or from what it is derived; how you serve it; where it is stored; what type of vessel do you use to serve it;
Ale,
ALE
Gorean ale is closer to a honey lager then ale or beer deep golden in color ~ brewed from grains, of Gor and hops, brought from earth early years.
Traditionally kept in a cask or a keg and served in a tankard.
The Forkbeard himself now, from a wooden keg, poured a great tankard of ale, which must have been of the measure of five gallons. Over this he then closed his fist. It was the sign of the hammer, the sign of Thor. The tankard then, with two great bronze handles, was passed from hands to hands among the rowers. The men threw back their heads and, the liquid spilling down their bodies, drank ale. It was the victory ale.

Black wine first and second slave
Described as a very expensive drink, even in Thentis, where it is grown on the mountain slopes. It is the same as coffee, and the original beans were probably imported from earth. Served steaming hot with creams or sugars as desired or as a thick, bitter brew sipped from tiny cups.
Black wine is earth coffee and sometimes served in clay bowls, ((although there is one quote showing was served in a metal tankard with handles.)) (quotes below) It is served from silver pots often kept warm on braziers. Many times, because it is so strong, it is served in tiny cups; usually with added cream and sugars.
"I grinned, and washed down the eggs with a swig of hot black wine, prepared from the beans grown upon the slopes of the Thentis mountains. This black wine is quite expensive. Men have been slain on Gor for attempting to smuggle the beans out of the Thentian territories."
-- Beasts of Gor page 21.
paga,
A strong fermented drink brewed from sa-tarna (pagar-sa-tarna or Pleasure of the Life- Daughter) grain, the favored drink of Gorean men. A cup in a paga tavern would cost a tarsk bit. One of the large serving bottles may be purchased for a silver tarsk. Paga is served warmed to fiery hot. There seem to be no traditions surrounding its service as demonstrated by the variety of vessels from which it is, stored, served and drunk.
It is stored in many different types of containers depending on the location and convenience of such; verrskin botas used mainly for traveling, sealed bottles seemingly of varying sizes , and large vats from which the drink can be dipped. It can be served, poured from the above mentioned bottles and botas or from a two handled serving vessel carried on a strap about a slaves shoulder, or even directly from the large vat mentioned earlier. It can be served in just about any available liquid holding container including cups, fancy goblets, plain metal goblets, glasses and kantharos or footed-bowls.
I may have drunk too much of that fermented brew, concocted with fiendish skill from the yellow grain, Sa-Tarna, and called Pagar-Sa-Tarna, Pleasure of the Life-Daughter, but almost always "Paga" for short.--Tarnsman of Gor. P 59
sul paga,
This alcoholic drink is made from suls, a vegetable like a potato. It is most like strong vodka or moonshine. It is clear, almost tasteless, and very strong. It is served at room temperature. It is seldom available outside of a peasant village. It would be a rarity in a paga tavern to find sul paga available.
Sul paga is, when distilled, though the Sul itself is yellow, as clear as water. The Sul is a tuberous root of the Sul plant; it is a staple.

rence beer,
golden colured, steeped, boiled and fermented from curshed seeds and whitish pith of the rence plant.
Served in Tankards or gourd flagons. Cold.

Raiders of Gor, p 18
Kalda
An alcoholic beverage made of cheap ka-la-na wine diluted with citrus juices such as tospit and larma and mixed with strong stinging spices, unlike the sweet ones used in mulled ka-la-na. It is served hot, almost scalding from the hearth in a mug or footed bowl. It is cheap and tastes good and is most popular with the lower castes. It can be considered quite good, at least until you reach the bottom of the pot. It can and will get you drunk eventually. Can be garnished with tospit, or larma fruits (do not forget to dip fruits in honey.)
,
ka la na,
A very potent sweet dry red wine, made from the fruit of the Ka-la-na tree. Like the wines of earth the quality of ka-la-na varies from that of a common table wine to premium brands. The best and sweetest coming from the Plains of Kalana. Almost incandescent, there are actually quite a variety of types of this wine. Many cities make their own brands and most people have their personal preferences. Boleto's Nectar of the Public Slave Gardens is a major brand of Ka-la-na served in Ar's public slave gardens. Boleto is a well-known winegrower from the vicinity of Ar. He is famous for the production of a large number of reasonably good, medium-grade Ka-la-nas. Ka-la-na is normally sold and served in bottles. Ka-la-na wine is reported to have an aphrodisiac effect on females. This drink symbolizes romantic love. It is served, chilled or room temperature, in a goblet. An unnamed white wine exists on Gor and there are inferences in the books that lead one to conclude that white, or other color, ka-la-na may exist. There is no passage in the books that states ka-la-na is only red. The cheap ka-la-na is kept in verr skin botas. The "good" ka-la-na is stored in bottles and each bottle has the wax seal of the city of Ar.
NEVER serve kalana in a silver vessel, the most potent poison in Gor is silver-laced kalana!!!!

The sul is a large, thick-skinned, yellow-fleshed, root vegetable. It is very common on this world. There are a thousand ways in which it is prepared. It is fed even to slaves. I had had some at the house; narrow, cooked slices, smeared with butter, sprinkled with salt, fed to me by hand.

List the 5 upper castes, List 5 lower castes
High Castes
Caste of Initiates: First of the High Castes. The supposed representatives of the Priest-Kings in Gorean society. They are responsible for guiding the spiritual life of Goreans through their rituals and prayers to the Priest-Kings. Some are rumored to have the ability to call down the wrath of the Priest Kings, or the dreaded "Flame Death," upon those who commit blasphemous acts or who conspire against the Priest Kings. They are recognised by their white robes, their shaven heads and faces, and their refusal to eat meat or imbibe alcohol. They are also required by their caste codes to be celibate. They tend to be learned and well-read, although they are feared and often distrusted by those of the lower castes. Their caste color is White.
Caste of Scribes: Second of the High Castes. They are the scholars of Gorean society, the writers and the historians. In their keeping is almost all of the accounting, record-keeping, and writing upon Gor. They tend to be serious and studious, with an attention to detail and a passion for knowledge. Sub-classes of this caste include the caste of Mapmakers (explorers), the caste of Magistrates and the caste of Litigators. Their caste color is Blue.
Caste of Builders: Third of the High Castes. This caste includes architects, engineers, draftsmen, stonemasons, and many other professions which concern themselves with the creation of the physical and engineering marvels of Gor. Also among the caste of Builders are the inventors and technicians who develop such works. Their caste color is Yellow.
Caste of Physicians: Fourth of the High Castes. This is the caste of those who concern themselves with the healing arts. Surgeons, apothecaries, medical researchers and health practicioners are all members of this caste. Universally recognized as non-combatants during time of war. Their caste color is Green.
Caste of Warriors: Fifth and lowest of the High Castes. This caste includes infantry, tharlarion cavalry, and tarnsmen. They are known to have one of the strictest sets of caste codes in use on Gor. Members of this caste comprise the military branch of Gorean government. Their caste color is Scarlet
Lower Castes
Caste of Torturers, clan of Torturers (Wagon Peoples): Not a common Gorean caste, found only among the Wagon People of the far south. Considered to be a sub-caste of the caste of Artisans. One must therefore suppose that those of the Wagon Peoples consider the application of Torture to be an art form. Their caste colors are Black and Red.
Caste of Animal Handlers: A large caste category which contains many specific sub-castes, all concerned with the use and care of domestic animals in use upon Gor
Caste of Charcoal Makers: This caste concerns itself with the production of charcoal for use in Gorean forges and ovens. Caste colors: Black and Grey.
Caste of Assassins: This caste is comprised of those who kill strictly for pay; once evident throughout Gor, their existence has long been suppressed, though they still appear occasionally. They refuse to use poison to dispatch their enemies (they consider it the mark of an amateur) and are required by their caste codes to renounce all ties of friendship and family. In addition, they claim no Home Stone. Almost universally despised and feared by other castes. Their caste color is Black
Caste of Metal Workers: A sub-caste of the caste of Artisans. They are concerned with the production of most metal items fabricated upon Gor. Sub-castes of this caste include the caste of Swordmakers and the caste of Armorers, who produce the varios shields and helmets in use upon Gor. Additionally, there seems to be a wide-spread sub-caste of the caste of Metal Workers which serves in a similar capacity to a blacksmith or farrier, repairing wagon wheels and shoeing Gorean draft and riding beasts. Their caste color is Gray
Describe the following peoples and cultures of Gor, including what they are, where they reside, and what role if any are they noted for upon the planet.
Priest Kings
the Earth translation of the Gorean term ‘Sardar;’ golden insect-like creatures about a yard wide and almost eighteen feet tall with six legs and globe-like head. Keepers of the Sacred Place in the Sardar Mountains. (Book 3: Priest Kings of Gor, page 75)
Kurii
an alien race existing in their space ships, which orbit in the asteroid belts of the outer atmosphere, their ‘Steel World’. It is thought that their own world had been destroyed, partially as a result of their advanced technology, ferocity, and greed. They are locked in a war with the Priest-Kings for the domination of Gor and Earth. Their ships have sometimes been shattered and have fallen to the surface. It is the practice of the Priest-Kings to destroy the wrecks, but they do not hunt down and exterminate the survivors. These marooned Kur are allowed to live if they abide by the laws of the Priest-Kings. They are extremely powerful, highly intelligent, fond of killing and technologically advanced
Wagon Peoples
a fierce, migrating people consisting of four nomadic tribes that wander the Plains of Turia, living in huge, elaborate wagon homes. They grow no food, nor will they eat anything that has touched the dirt, living entirely on the meat and milk of the bosk. There is no known manufacturing. They are called herders and killers and are among the proudest peoples of Gor, regarding city dwellers as vermin in holes
Panthers
runaway women who live wild and free in the forest as outlaws without free men, taking as slave any man who enters their domain and eventually selling him, when it pleased them to do so. Those of the northern forests dress in the teeth and skins of forest panthers, which they slay with their spears and bows. Also known as taluna.
Red Savages
the peoples to inhabit the plains area (Barrens) of Gor; in appearance and culture, they are similar to the American Indians of Earth
Red Hunters
the peoples who inhabit the Gorean arctic; in appearance and culture, they are similar to the Eskimos of Earth. The men of the polar basin, of Indian heritage and similar physically, but culturally distinct from the Red Savages of the Barrens. Their babies are born with a blue spot at the base of their spine. They live as nomads, dependent on the migrations of tabuk, and the sea sleen. The Red Hunters refer to themselves as the Innuit, which, in their tongue means, 'The People'. They are few in number, and live in scattered, isolated, communities. Culturally, they tend to be gentle, kindly and friendly, even to strangers
Tahari Desert
desert region variously known as the ‘Tahari Wastes’ lies east of Tor. It is hundreds of pasangs deep and thousands in length, punctuated by various oasis springs and deep wells. In some areas, it has been centuries between rains. Diurnal air temperatures in the shade are in the range of 120 degree’s Fahrenheit. Klima, located far to the east in ‘The Wastes’ is the location of the infamous salt mines. The major tribes are the Kavars and the Aretai, and their vassal tribes, such as the Char, the Kashani, the Ta’Kara, the Raviri, the Tashid, the Luraz, and the Bakahs
